The daily routine of a Buddhist monk


While it will depend upon the branch of Buddhism and the specific roles/titles a given monk may have, much of a typical Buddhist monk’s day is filled with prayer, meditation, and chanting. They typically start their day very early to begin their spiritual practices. To exemplify this, we can look at a day in the life of both a Thai monk and His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
1.      uposagakam (chanting pāimogk 15 daily)
2.    receive food (The monks walk barefoot around the neighbourhood while the local people make merit by offering them food)
3.      The Canting Buddha
4.      Classes in Buddhist teaching begin. Some monks may attend school outside the temple.
5.      Keep the Saṃgāi (yellow robe)
6.      Pariwatsakam  action ( if some monk get mistake have to meditation for Classes heart and body)
7.      Cut hair, beard and nail
8.      Study tipitaka and take care the master monk
9.      Ābanti action (Special Chants for Monks)
10.  Consider factors four, there are civaraṃ (yellow robe), receive food, at living, Medicine.
